If you have ever wanted to learn to hand build with clay or perhaps you already know how to work with clay this is a class you might enjoy. During this 3 day workshop we will be building up and out with coils to form faces while learning some anatomy and how to structure and have uniform clay thickness. It is such fun to work 3-dimensionally!

The cost is $225 (includes supplies and firing)

ADULT PAINTING WORKSHOP

Ready to get out and get some creative energy Springing

Painting with acrylics and house paint on cardboard and wood boards. If you prefer to work on canvas you must bring your own. We will be working on drawing and painting fundamentals and each student needs to bring animal and object images to work from.

Summer Children’s Workshops 2024

Picasso Styles -Still-Life and Portrait

Throughout Pablo Picasso’s long life of creating art, he explored many approaches, styles, and mediums. He was an innovative genius. In the beginning of his young career, his approach was realistic and soon he moved into his blue and then red periods. He may be best remembered for cubism. During our 4-day drawing and acrylic painting workshops we will be exploring some of his styles for still-life and portrait, human and animal.

Dates:

June 17-20 9:00-12:00

June 24-27 9:00-12:00

June 24-27 1:30-4:30

July 1-4 9:00-1200

July 8-11 9:00-12:00

Ages 5-18

Cost is $180 (includes supplies).

Each student needs to bring a healthy snack and drink each day.
